LUNATIC SOUL | Athens, Greece

While I tend to plan a lot in my photography, sometimes improvisation plays a key role.
The morning I shot this picture, the image I had in mind was completely different. It was kind of a golden hour sunburst, post-sunrise shot.
Luckily enough, while traveling I don't sleep that much and I was awake well before my schedule, so I came really early to this spot (Areopagus Hill, that has a beautiful view over the Acropolis and the city of Athens) and I noticed the moon rising and reflecting on this small puddle, which wasn't expected.
I said luckily, because after the blue hour, heavy clouds gathered at the horizon, ruining the sunrise and the shot I had in mind. And this morning was the only time I had for shooting at this location.
By the way, this puddle was really, and I mean really small. I just enhanced it by shooting really close to it with my ultra-wide angle lens.

Shot with the Fujifilm X-T3 and the Fujinon 10-24mm.
The main image was taken at 10mm, while the moon was captured at about 24mm to make it a little bigger and important in the composition.
